This Privacy Policy explains how **What-If** ("we", "us", or "our") handles information inside the What-If mobile application (the "App").

Our guiding principle is **Local-First**. The App works entirely on your device, and we do not collect, store, sync, or transmit your personal data to any server.

## 1. Information We Collect

**We do not collect any personal information.**

All activity logs, state transitions, goals, reminders, and settings you create remain on your device. We have no backend services, analytics pipelines, or cloud databases that receive or mirror your usage.

## 2. How Your Data Is Used

### 2.1 On-Device Processing
*   **Prediction engine:** Activity histories are analyzed locally to calculate next-step predictions. Calculations never leave your device.
*   **Storage:** Data is stored in the device's secure storage area. We do not copy or upload this data anywhere.
*   **Settings:** The Settings screen affects only local preferences. Cloud sync has been removed, so no remote copy exists.

### 2.2 Imports and Exports
*   **Export:** You may export your data to a file that you control. We do not receive a copy of exported files.
*   **Import:** You may import previously exported files. Imports happen locally and are never sent to us.

## 3. Third Parties and Connectivity

*   **No servers:** The App does not communicate with What-If servers because none exist for consumer data.
*   **No analytics or ads:** We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash-reporting tools that could collect personal information.
*   **Platform services:** Standard operating-system services (e.g., iOS or Android backup, app store update delivery) may apply according to your device settings, but we do not control or receive that data.

## 4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

*   **No sharing:** Because we do not collect your data, we cannot sell, rent, or disclose it to anyone.
*   **Legal requests:** We have no copies of your content to provide to authorities. Your data resides solely with you unless you choose to share it independently.

## 5. Data Security

*   **Device protections:** Your operating system sandbox and encryption keep the data safe. We rely on those native protections and never transmit your information over the network.
*   **User control:** Clearing data or uninstalling the App removes local records from your device.

## 6. Your Rights and Controls

*   **Full control:** You can view, edit, export, import, or delete your information directly inside the App.
*   **No account required:** The App works without accounts or sign-ins, so there are no credentials tied to your data.

## 7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. Because we do not collect data, we have no way of identifying or storing information about children. Please supervise device usage accordingly.

## 8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will update this notice and change the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
